Tần Thời Minh Nguyệt 2016 (Qin's Moon) is a Chinese CG animated series based on the novel of the same name by Taiwanese author Wen Shiren. It is the first 3D martial arts animated series in China, produced by Hangzhou StarQ Animation Company in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The title of the series, "Qin's Moon," is derived from a famous poem. The story revolves around two heroes: Minh from the Thiên Minh clan and Nguyệt from the Nguyệt Nhi clan.

The series is set in a time of turmoil, where the chaos has not yet subsided. Cái Nhiếp, the top swordsman of the Thủy Hoàng clan and the son of a deceased hero, is being hunted by the Tần Vương. Meanwhile, the young boy Thiên Minh remains unaware of his true identity. The hand of fate slowly unfolds a bright future for him. In the border of the Tần Kingdom, Tàn Nguyệt Cốc, Cái Nhiếp single-handedly defeats 300 Tần cavalry. This angers Doanh Chính, who orders his prime minister Lý Tư to eliminate all anti-Tần forces. Lý Tư proposes a plan to use the underworld to destroy the underworld. Vệ Trang, the successor of the Hàn noble family and former disciple of Cái Nhiếp, has always harbored the intention to defeat Cái Nhiếp and claim the title of the top swordsman. He has trained in forbidden techniques of the Quỷ Cốc sect, making him a formidable opponent. Lý Tư uses Cái Nhiếp as bait to lure Vệ Trang into a trap. Along the way, Thiên Minh befriends Thiếu Vũ, the heir of the Sở Kingdom, as well as the skilled warriors of the Mặc family and the mysterious Cao Nguyệt. The subordinates of Vệ Trang, known as the Four Heavenly Kings, appear one by one to hunt down Thiên Minh and his companions.
