Đất Nước Tôi, My Country (2019)

My Country (2019) is a historical action drama set in the Goryeo dynasty. Yang Se Jong and Woo Do Hwan, both talented actors from the early 90s generation, are the main faces of the drama. This will also be Woo Do Hwan's first historical drama.

Alongside them, Seolhyun from AOA will be the female lead in this drama. This beautiful idol has previously appeared in other television dramas such as Orange Marmalade. With My Country, she sees it as a milestone in her return to the small screen after a period of absence.

The story is set at the end of the Goryeo dynasty and the beginning of the Joseon dynasty. It is a historical drama intertwined with action, telling the story of two men fighting for their "homeland". They are supported by various factions as they vie for power and protect what they believe is their country!

As a warrior, Seo Hwi is the son of Jang Su Geum, the commander of the Northern Army under the rule of Yi Seong Gye (King Tae Jo). Seo Hwi has a determination to not compromise with injustice.

Sun Ho is Seo Hwi's longtime friend and brother. He is both knowledgeable and skilled in martial arts. Sun Ho's mother was a slave, but his father was a nobleman. He dreams of having strong power to overcome the pain of being an "outsider" who has never been acknowledged in his family.

Han Hee Jae is an intelligent and daring woman. She has a strong physique and a deep insight in solving difficulties with extraordinary intelligence.
